The Department of Public Works will collect construction materials from do-it-yourself remodeling or renovation of single family homes, motor vehicle batteries and tires set out at the curb.
Residents may schedule a truck to pick up large amounts of construction material for a $100 fee. To schedule a truck, please call (301) 864-2430.
Contractors are responsible for hauling away debris from their remodeling or renovation sites.
